Madison Marquette Retail Services (MMRS) – a premier national real estate development, leasing and management firm specializing in infill, mixed-use, community and specialty retail properties – announced today that it has been selected by Park Development Corporation to provide marketing services and lease the pre-construction City Center West Orange project. The project will be a dynamic lifestyle center offering some 500,000 square feet of main-street style retail and restaurants only fifteen minutes from major theme parks and Downtown Orlando.
“We are pleased to entrust Madison Marquette Retail Services with this important assignment,” said David Townsend, Park Development Corporation President and CEO. “MMRS has a sterling reputation for effective and innovative leasing – matching world-class tenants to world-class projects across the United States and throughout the State of Florida,” Mr. Townsend added.
City Center will be a highly visible landmark on SR 50 in West Orange County, located at the junction of the 429, 408 and Florida’s Turnpike. Features of the new center will include charming main-street and waterfront retail, restaurants, fountains and lush landscaping on eighteen acres. The project will also offer Class-A office and medical space as well as luxury apartments and a planned Hilton Garden Inn.
“It is an enormous privilege to have been selected to lease City Center,” said Chuck Taylor, Senior Vice President for MMRS. “This project offers top tier retail real estate opportunities to discerning tenants seeking extraordinary demographics in the highly sophisticated Central Florida market,” Taylor added.
