Real estate investment firm Madison Marquette today announced the launch of Napa Valley’s newest crowdfunded real estate investment opportunity, the Oxbow Public Market, on the RealCrowd platform.
Today, thousands of potential investors looking to sink their teeth into Napa Valley’s vibrant food and wine scene will have a chance to invest in the Oxbow Public Market, a booming artisanal marketplace developed by Oxbow Management and Steve Carlin, known for his work on San Francisco’s famous Ferry Building Marketplace. Madison Marquette will post the offering on RealCrowd to accredited US investors with a minimum investment of $50,000, opening up approximately $6 million of investment potential.
“This rare and innovative opportunity for the region means a virtually unlimited pool of potential investors now have the chance to enjoy and own a slice of Napa’s luxury wine country lifestyle.” said Eric Hohmann, President of Madison Marquette. “The Oxbow Public Market represents the best of Napa Valley artisanal food and wine culture, and we are thrilled to open this investment through the RealCrowd platform.”
“Many Napa visitors dream of investing in wine country, but they either don’t know what’s available or may not have the capital to go it alone,” said Adam Hooper, RealCrowd CEO. “RealCrowd is all about leveraging technology to open up high-value commercial real estate investment opportunities to the broadest community possible, and we are excited to team up with Madison Marquette to offer this crowdfunded opportunity.”
Known as “Napa’s public square,” Oxbow Public Market is a 40,000 square foot multi-vendor marketplace that specializes in locally sourced, artisanal products. Earlier this year, Madison Marquette and The Carlin Company completed a successful recapitalization of Oxbow in order to expand the property’s upscale shopping and dining experience. Oxbow Public Market opened in 2008 and houses many of the same tenants as the Ferry Building Marketplace in San Francisco, including Hog Island Oyster Co. and Gott’s Roadside.
